Halloween 2015

Ben and Maddie are at that "prime" trick-or-treating age, so it was chaos at our house. And we spent all day listening to, "Is it time to go yet?"

I also put together this collage of photos from past Halloweens. Look how much they've grown!!

Halloween 2014

This year it was Elsa -- of course -- and Superman. Ben had originally planned to go as a Ninja, but somehow changed his mind to Superman.

Trick-or-treating was interesting because Ben refused to wear anything warm. He only had a short-sleeve t-shirt and shorts under his costume. Needless to say, he was the first one begging to go home!

Halloween 2010

Since Ben & Maddie don't remember last Halloween (although they did wear costumes and go to a party), it was a bit challenging this year to convince them to put on their costumes. I had a pink cat costume for Maddie and a tiger costume for Ben. They both wanted to wear the pink one -- or none at all. But eventually Ben just let me put his tiger costume on. Maddie fought me the whole time (as evidenced in picture below).

We went to our neighbor's annual party and they were fascinated by all the kids -- and adults -- in costumes, but they didn't nap well today and both have colds, so they didn't last too long.

Our first Halloween!

We took Ben and Maddie to a neighborhood party across the street. Needless to say, they got a lot of attention. They also seemed in awe of all the commotion, the bonfire and all the kids running around in costumes.
