Rocking horses for the twins

This weekend, I got my husband to crawl up into the attic of the garage at our cabin where I was sure we'd fine some treasures from my childhood. And we did find exactly what I had hoped for: These rocking horses that my father built for my twin brother and I for our first Christmas. They are in amazingly-good shape. A little cleaning and maybe a couple paint touchups and they'll be all set for the next generation of twins!

Here are some pics...one of my brother and I (I'm on the right) at Christmas 1971 and another of the rocking horses as they look now.

Oh my word...that is too precious! I can't believe what a treasure you found up in the garage! Your babies will have some great fun on the horses from Grandpa! You must have had a few tears when they were found! Your parents are looking down on you - for sure!

Love ya LOTS!
