Even though the calendar says otherwise, I think Memorial Day is the real kickoff of summer. That's the first big "cabin" weekend for us and that was true again this year.
We got the pontoon in the water yesterday, but the speed boat will take a few more weeks as there's some maintenance that my husband has to do before it hits the water.
But we spent most of our weekend in the yard -- raking and gardening. My memory garden is coming along, but I forgot to take the camera to get some new pictures. Next time! We got the majority of the yard work done, but there's still a couple more hours' worth of work when we go back in two weeks.
We also got a pretty nasty storm on Sunday afternoon that stalled some of our work. And we went up to my aunt and uncle's place near Minong for late Sunday afternoon-evening.
