If you spend any amount of time riding in elevators, you'll want to take the stairs after reading this article in the New Yorker magazine (my favorite magazine, by the way!).
The central tale in the story is about a New York man who was trapped in an elevator for 41 hours! Apparently there's even a video of it on U Tube now.
